The 2023 Chevy Colorado presents three choices of engine to help tailor your truck to your needs:
- 2.7L Turbo engine
- 2.7L Turbo Plus engine
- 2.7L Turbo High-Output engine
The standard 2.7L Turbo engine provides 237 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque, along with 3,500 pounds of max towing capability when properly equipped. Meanwhile, the available 2.7L Turbo Plus engine delivers an extra kick with 310 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque.
The third option is the 2.7L Turbo High-Output engine, which delivers 310 horsepower and a whopping 430 lb-ft of torque. This engine was made for towing, boasting a 7,700-pound max towing capacity when properly equipped.
These engines come paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. To help keep your ride smooth and keep you in control, five drives modes—Normal, Tow/Haul, Off-Road, Terrain, and Baja—are available.
